Spec sheet incredible and in terms of resonance and responsiveness, I’d say its very close to a Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul. (The CS Les Paul actually made way for this guitar in the end.) The neck is lovely. I played a Murphy Lab Les Paul Custom very recently and this isnt far behind. It doesnt have the LP Custom headstock inlay but at this price, you dont mind gigging it down your boozer.
It’s got stacks of mojo and soon became my #1 gigging guitar and as such I’ve played it a lot. We bought this to use for a photo shoot. It soon become my #1 guitar for rehearsals and gigs and therefore does show signs of use.
The vintage finish is slightly aged and intended to age with use to provide an authentic aged finish. Its black but under certain lighting, its almost holographic translucent.
The two Lollar Custom Aged/Wound Imperial Humbuckers use standard Les Paul type controls 2x tone, 2x volume and 3-way switch.
Only mods are Gibson gold speed knobs, poker chip and 50s wiring mod. Original knobs included. Will do articulate cleans but does immense dark n dirty Jerry Cantrell wino stuff.
